BIOGRAPHY

Violinist Irenè Fiorito, born in Rome in 2000, graduated from the S. Cecilia Conservatory of Music in Rome, obtaining the highest degree cum laude and honors at the age of fifteen. She obtained  her Master of Arts in Music Performance in 2020, her Master of Arts in Specialized Music  Performance for soloists in 2022 and her Master of Advanced Studies in 2024 at the  Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana, Lugano in the class of Pavel Berman, with whom she  has been studying since 2015. In 2023 she also obtained her Zertificat Meisterklass at the  Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich in the class of M° Neudauer.  

Despite her young age, from 2014 to 2018, she has also been a student at the Advanced Courses given  by Salvatore Accardo at the Stauffer Academy of Cremona. She has been selected to participate in numerous prestigious masterclasses in Italy and abroad, including those at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, the Kronberg Academy (2021/2023) in Germany and the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. She has been awarded and won numerous National and International Competitions including the Lipatti International Competition in Rome (2015), the Crescendo Prize in Florence (2016), the Marie Cantagrill International Violin Competition in S. Lizier in France (2016), the International Music Competition Salzburg GrandPrix Virtuoso (2017), the 26th Postacchini International Violin Competition (2019), the International Violin Competition Rodolfo Lipizer Prize (2019), the Rahn Kulturfonds in Zurich (2022), the Chamber Music Competition Gasparo da Salò (2023), the Renzo Giubergia Prize (2024), the Roscini Padalino Prize (2025).

Since 2021, she has been a member of the Trio Kobalt with whom she studied at the Accademia Perosi in Biella, Italy in the class of Trio di Parma and is currently continuing her studies at the CRR in Paris in  the class of Trio Wanderer. In 2024, the Trio was invited as Ensemble en Residence to the International Piano Festival La Roque d'Antheron in France.

 

As soloist and in duo with piano she has performed in numerous concerts including those at the Łańcut Castle in Poland, the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, the Auditorium Augustinianum in Rome, the International Music Festival in Portogruaro, the Rassegna di Concerti a Palazzo S. Teodoro in Naples, the Agimus in Florence in the Careggi in Musica Festival, the Accademia Filarmonica Romana, the Sala Wiener of the Mozarteum in Salzburg, the Teatro Marrucino in Chieti, the Sala del Ridotto of the Teatro Verdi in Trieste, the Cappella Paolina of the Palazzo del Quirinale in Rome (live on RaiRadio3), the Palazzo Ducale in Genoa, the LAC in Lugano, the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, the Sala dei Giganti in Padua, the ETH in Zurich. She has also given numerous concerts in various chamber and orchestral ensembles in Italy and abroad including at the Festival La Roque d'Antheron, the Lacmus Festival, the Montebello Festival, the Festival Mantova Musica, the Settimane Musicali Ascona, the Unione Musicale in Turin. Since 2017 she has been a member of the Orchestra da Camera Italiana conducted by Maestro Salvatore Accardo; since 2021 she has regularly collaborated with the Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana and since 2024 with the Orchestra da Camera L'Appassionata.

 

As a soloist with the Orchestra she has performed with the Ariege Orchestra in Saint Girons in France, with the Orchestra dei Castelli Romani, with the Youth Rotary Chamber Orchestra, with the ensemble I Baroccoli di Zurigo in Switzerland and Italy, with the Ensemble ‘700 Napoletano, with the Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra in Kaunas in Lithuania, with the Orchestra The Angels in London, with the Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana in Verona, with the Orchestra da Camera Sinfonietta Gigli in Recanati, with the Ensamble 900 in Lugano, with the Orchestra Apogeo in Mantua, with the Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano.

 

She performs on the J. Ceruti violin, Cremona 1848 lent to her by the ProCanale Foundation in Milan.
